Chimney Rock NC
After the wedding, Michael decide to go to Chimney Rock state park, he was sure that I will like it and he was right. For us it was kind of honey moon trip. We went first to Chimney Rock Village just outside of the state park. A quaint, quirky community full of friendly folks, the Village offers an eclectic array of shops and eateries, as well as campgrounds, motels and the historic Esmeralda Inn. Be sure to take time to meander down the Rocky Broad River Walk, a beautiful path that winds around the Rocky Broad River. One of amazing art of the locals was in the village that I thought that be worth to capture.
Chimney Rock state park have a lot to offer, from panoramic views to hiking trails for all levels, from up-close animal encounters to bird watching, there is an experience for everyone. The tickets are pretty expensive comparing to other parks, but it was worth it.
From the top Chimney Rock, above the valley you can see more than 75 miles across Lake Lure, the Blue Ridge Mountains and Carolina Piedmont. With unique hiking trails, the Park has something for everyone including the family-friendly Great Woodland Adventure. More adventurous hikers will want to take the Outcroppings and Skyline trails for some of the most unique views of the Park. We choose to climb the rock by stairs, It was the only option of the time of our visit, not easy buy each time we climbed higher the view was more and more amazing till we reach the top.
We stopped at lake Lure after watching it from the top of Chimney Rock, its pretty huge lake. You can enjoy a wide variety of water activities, ranging from canoeing and fishing to pleasure boating and water skiing. Both motor and non-motorized boats enjoy the lake. Just remember, you need an annual boat permit before placing a private boat on the lake. That time we didnt need to worry about the permit because we did not have a boat, but just for the knowledge. The lake is the number one attraction and the reason so many families visit Lake Lure year after year. Visitors come to enjoy lake sparkling clean beach area, and the incredible Blue Ridge mountain range including Chimney Rock.
Lake Blalock Spartanburg SC
One of the weekends of June we decided to enjoy Lake Blalock Park, a recreational park provided by Spartanburg Water, that offers picnic pavilions, a dock for fishing, one boat ramp, and the Lake Blalock Warden’s Office. Lake Blalock Park has three covered pavilions for use on a first come, first served basis (at no cost) at the Lake Blalock Landing. Each pavilion is in a separate area and provides two picnic tables and restrooms. Lake Blalock offers many recreational activities like boating, fishing, and swimming. We went for fishing, the weather was pretty cold but it was fun.
The Wedding
From the window of the bridal suite, she could see Michael, standing at the altar, a beacon of calm amidst the fluttering excitement. He was talking to his best man, but even from this distance, Eden could see the nervous energy that radiated from him. It was endearing.
Eden, a whirlwind of sunshine and enthusiasm, had been determined to find the perfect home. Michael, a quiet architect with a soft spot for the underdog, had been equally captivated by Eden. And Eden, well, Eden was the perfect match for Michael too.
Their courtship had been a series of charmingly awkward dates, fueled by shared laughter and a growing, undeniable connection. They found joy in the mundane, transforming grocery shopping into impromptu dance parties and turning rainy days into cozy movie marathons. Michael, who had always been a creature of habit, found himself delightfully swept away by Eden’s spontaneity. Eden, in turn, found solace in Michael’s steady, unwavering presence.
Now, here they were, ready to embark on their greatest adventure yet.
A gentle knock on the door broke Eden’s reverie. Her Betsy, eyes sparkling with tears, entered the room. “You look absolutely radiant, darling,” she said, pulling Eden into a warm embrace. “He’s waiting for you.”
Taking a deep breath, Eden walked down the aisle, her eyes locked on Michael. The church seemed to fade away, the only thing that mattered was the man waiting for her at the end. As she drew closer, she saw the love shining in his eyes, a love that mirrored her own.
The ceremony was a blur of vows, promises, and the gentle rustle of silk. When the priest pronounced them husband and wife, a cheer erupted from the guests. Michael turned to Eden, his smile wide and genuine.
He gently lifted her veil, his gaze tender. “Mrs. Parker,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
“Mr. Parker,” she replied, mirroring his sentiment.
And as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, surrounded by the joyous faces of their loved ones, Eden knew that their life together would be filled with laughter, love, and a shared joy that would only continue to grow with each passing day. Their wedding was just the beginning of their beautifully imperfect, wonderfully joyous forever.

Charleston SC
The next weekend with his job, Susan the "Boss" reserve for us a hotel room in Charleston and it was our new destination. Michael worked 2 days and the other 2 days we explored Charleston. Cities and Towns in USA were all new to me and it was astonish to discover all those places with thrust to know more about this country, especially with his company. My desire to travel was higher then know more about the person beside me.
Charleston delivers shady courtyards and old Victorian homes to the horse-drawn carriages and gorgeous beaches. But while the classic southern backdrop is a huge draw, this coastal stunner has plenty of big city attractions. So go ahead and do the historic sites—Middleton Place, Fort Sumter National Museum, the French Quarter, to name a worthy few. There’s the International African American Museum, art galleries, and a dynamic, ever-evolving food scene, serving everything from Lowcountry staples to modern tapas.
We went to the Slave Market Occupying a place of prominence in ‘s historic district, the market is considered a quintessential experience for tourists visiting the Holy City. While many people refer to the market as the “slave market,” they were sold on nearby wharves and in other local markets such as the on Chalmers Street.
The next stop was at Charleston shore, there was a port nearby. Many cruises are starting in this point as I learn way after.Great place for a run or a stroll. You can see many of the beautiful homes along the way or watch for dolphins off the dock. It is really pleasant to meander away from any traffic. From there we went to a Bar on the roof in one of the beautiful old houses, from there you have a beautiful view on Charleston the old town. This Bar was one of the signs that I should mark in my head its was a beginning journey of Alcoholism that I later had to deal with, that I didnt have a clue, or mabye didnt want to see the signs because I was so happy. I ordered a Margarita and Michael ordered beer, I couldnt drink it because it was so strong but he finished my drink easly, even though I warned him that he need to drive till Gaffney SC.

There are many attractions that we didnt visit because the Bar was the first and last attraction that was in his head and he have been here before, something that I figure out years later. But if you coming to this area there is so fun to do here as horse carriage ride, Museums, beautiful beaches.
Right after Charleston, she decided to give Michael a huge vacation and told him that she doesnt have enough work for him, So Michael started to search another job.
White Waterfalls NC
Nice Suprise in the weekend. Michael was working in Individual houses renovation for a Business woman that were buying houses in a cheap price, renovating it with Michael and selling it on high price. Usually he wasnt working in the weekends and one of the weekend he told me that we are going to a very unique place that he think that I will like it. On the way to the water falls I took a selfie that will follow me long way in social media, I was so Happy having this trip, cause since my flight landed here I was most of the time in the house without a car or option to travel.

Well I did Like it. The White waterfalls was breathtaking falls up-close-and-personal, take the paved quarter mile walkway to the upper overlook. A lower overlook is located at the bottom of 154 wooden steps. More energetic hikers can continue down the half-mile spur trail that drops 600 feet in elevation to the Whitewater River and Foothills Trail. So the best views of the falls are from the two overlooks. There is a nominal fee for parking.
These majestic falls are an outdoor lover's dream and are sure to leave a lasting impression on any spectator. If you visit on a sunny day, you may get to see beautiful rainbows caused by sunlight reflecting off the falls. While we love rainbows, cloudy conditions are best for photos of this gorgeous waterfall.
It was magical for me, coming from a country that dont have so many waterfalls or forests, I stood there very impresses and wow what an amazing view that you can watch that ever last, so powerfull.
Broad River SC, USA
Our travel journey start at Broad river in SC pretty much close to town Gaffney. Michael wanted to share with me his childhood, where he was spending the most time in by himself or with friends. We stopped first at downtown Gaffney buying hot dogs for lunch at the river because close by there is no shops or restaurants.
The Broad River is a principal tributary of the Congaree River, about 150 miles long, in western North Carolina and northern South Carolina in the United States. Broad river dam was very magical and calm place, in some sense I understood why Michael choose to spend time here in his childhood and adulthood. We eat Lunch and jump from stone to stone to have different view from each angel. I felt like hugging the surrounding and Michael in it, when he expose me to one of his escaping corners. A 15-mile segment of the Broad River between Cherokee and York counties was designated a State Scenic River in May 1991. The designation extends from Ninety-Nine Islands Dam to the confluence with the Pacolet River. The Broad Scenic River presents an undeveloped riverfront of Piedmont forests and pasturelands. The riparian forest is home to diverse plant and animal life. Eagles, ospreys, and other birds frequent the river corridor. The area surrounding the river is rich with historical features from Smith's ford to Native American fish traps.
The Promise Ring
The second day in USA, Michael and I went to Walmart the huge supermarket that I ever saw. Waiting in the Walmart parking lot and Michael surprised me and said that "he will die for me" thats how much he loves me. He asked me to marry him and I said YES without thinking twice, dont blame me I didnt know what I am getting into.
We get in to Walmart and bought for me the promise ring, as it called its actually a promise to get married. The ring was Two hearts attached, symbolizing what we felt for each other. I thought that we were 2 less lonely people in the world that were Craving for Love.

Michael was married twice and divorce twice, had 3 children from 3 different women. Working in construction since he remember himself. Chased by child support for his children (things I knew only later). Michael was B-polar, Alcoholic and Smocking weed any chance he had.
Eden was married 23 years Once and divorced with 3 children from the same father. Served in the Israeli army, study BA in Psychology and flew 12,000 Miles away from her country, Hopping to find the love of her life. Left everything she knew behind believing that man will take her to see stars.
Our life together started and it was hardship financially. I got hints that the electricity bill is too high, rent is $400 and he cant do all by himself. I just came with tour visa and couldnt work without a permission. On April was a Jewish holiday Passover and there was an ad for dinner in that evening, so I went to Greenville SC to pay for it. At dinner I met some people from Israel that are working at the mall selling dead sea products, so I agreed to work with them and have some cash money. The expectations were too high that money hardly cover the gas expenses to reach Greenville every day, but still needed some company beside Michael.

Meeting at Charlotte NC
The Charlotte airport thrummed with a joyful energy. A cacophony of greetings, rushed goodbyes, and excited chatter bounced off the polished floors. In the midst of it all, Eden stood, a beacon of quiet elegance amidst the chaos. She held a worn copy of "Pride and Prejudice," her escape route in case her flight ran late again.
Eden had been dreading this trip. But the moment she caught a glimpse of him weaving through the crowd, a smile tugged at her lips.
He was late.
Michael.
He was even more striking than his photos suggested. His dark hair was slightly ruffled, as if he'd just run a hand through it in exasperation. His eyes, the color of warm honey, scanned the crowd, and when they met hers, a genuine smile lit up his face.
“Eden?” he asked, his voice a low rumble that sent a pleasant shiver down her spine.
She nodded, closing her book with a soft thud. "Michael. You're late."
He winced. "I know, I am so sorry. Charlotte traffic is no joke." He extended a hand, and the simple gesture felt charged with a surprising current. "But I’m here now."
His handshake was warm and firm. “Forgive me?”
“Forgiven.”
The word slipped out before she could think to play it cool.
They had been corresponding online for months, sharing their dreams, their fears, and their mutual love for classic literature, Music. But meeting him in person was different. The digital connection had been a spark; here, in the bustling airport, it felt like kindling ready to burst into flame.
"I was starting to think you were a figment of my imagination, conjured up by too many late-night coffees and Jane Austen novels," she confessed, surprising herself with her honesty.
He chuckled, a sound that resonated deep within her. “Believe me, I’m real. And I’m starving. How about we grab some Dinner? We are going to my home in Gaffnet. As they walked side-by-side, the initial awkwardness melted away. They talked easily, their voices blending with the music that was playing in the truck radio. They discussed their shared travel stories.
The Truck was small and cozy, tucked away from the airport's clamor. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. As they sat side by side. Eden felt a sense of joy blossom within her.
This trip, which had once seemed so daunting, suddenly felt like an opportunity. Maybe, just maybe, this chance encounter in the Charlotte airport was the start of something truly special.
As Michael’s honey-colored eyes met hers across the truck cabin, Eden knew, with a certainty that warmed her from the inside out, that destiny had a funny way of leading you to where you were meant to be. And right now, she was exactly where she wanted to be.
USA - Endless possibilities to Happiness
Flying to USA, for the first time in my life, so exited. Planning to stay 3 weeks and meet the love of my life. I can see so many possibilities for new start, new life, new relationship, new marriage. Everything new, it was scary too. But adventures is in my soul and I was ready to give it a try.
Was talking with him till late in the night and packed my small suitcase, will be enough for 3 weeks that I am gonna stay there. I was happy for a change after living with my mom for almost 2 years after my Dad died and she requested that I will move in with her because she feel so lonely. I understand what is loneliness before and after my life story began.
That is the song that I received in the morning that I was suppose to fly to USA, thinking that its a good sign for new beginning. I missed my train, was thinking that every delay its for good. Not long before I came out from train accident and terribly was scared to go on trains, but I took the chance and went on train to the airport. I want to know what love is, I want you to show me.
moving to a different country it’s scary and need to consider several things before you decide to move.
- Money - saving money prior moving abroad it’s a good idea. Save enough for living at least for 2 months living.
- Language - learning the language will make it much easier. Always listen what people say around you and catch all the common phrases.
- saftey- learn the area you are moving to, and the embassy recommendations. Make sure you have travel insurance if you become sick or need any medical services.
- communication - make sure you communicate with your love ones through Skype, emails, WhatsApp, facebook etc. remember to make friends as they will be your second family.
- Failure - try to enjoy your experience. If you decide to go back home it’s not a failure, it’s about your adventure and your life. You tried it always could end different or in success.
Adopting those thoughts and knowledge, I was on my way to experience my journey in life.
